Mangaluru: District Health Centre, ARMC IVF Fertlity Centre celebrate Women's Day

Mangaluru, Mar 9: District Health Centre (Taluk health office, RCG office) & Family Welfare in association with ARMC IVF Fertlity Centre, Mangaluru celebrated International Women's day on March 9 at District health Office .

Dr Deepa Prabhu (family welfare officer), Dr Sujay Kumar (Taluk health officer), Dr Rajesh (district RCG officer), Gayathri (superintendent), and Dr Gaurav and Dr Susan from Armc IVF fertility centre took part in the celebration.

Prof Hilda Rayyapan, social activitist, was honoured for her long standing social service to the society.

 

Dr Gaurav Gujarathi, IVF specialist of ARMC IVF centre spoke on infertility issues, its rising trends and the need to address this issue with early diagnosis and treatment. He spoke about the decreasing ovarian reserve in women and also rising male infertility.

Dr Susan Pradeep, gynaecologist and IVF specialist ARMC IVF Centre spoke on various health issues affecting women of different age groups and its treatment. She also spoke about the need to create health awareness in adolescent girls and to follow healthy lifestyle to avoid future gynaecological and fertility related problems.
