Kundapur: More than expected development works done in Byndoor – MP B Y Raghavendra

Kundapur, Mar 15: MP B Y Raghavendra stated that more development work than expected was performed in the Byndoor Vidhan Sabha constituency during the last five years, made possible by the double engine government. He made the statement during the inauguration of the new Byndoor taluk office building on Wednesday.

Raghavendra also mentioned that the beautiful building was built after the approval of Rs ten crore, and Rs 785 crore worth of projects have been set in motion. He added that drinking water will be supplied to every house in 43 gram panchayat limits, with priority given to port, basic facilities, tourism, and industries.

Byndoor MLA B M Sukumar Shetty, who presided over the program, added that power supply, well-equipped classrooms for schools, roads, and irrigation have been implemented properly in Byndoor.

The housing board officials and contractors who constructed the building were felicitated, and title deeds were distributed to the beneficiaries.

Present at the event were Deputy Commissioner Kurma Rao M, SP Akshay M Hakay, Additional Deputy Commissioner Veena B N, Kundapur Assistant Commissioner Rashmi S R, Karnataka Housing Board Executive Engineer C K Manjula, Assistant Executive Engineer M Sahana, Mysore Electrical and Industries Limited President K Udaya Kumar Shetty, Project Authority Member Priyadarshini Beskoor, and Contractor Sujay Kumar Shetty.

The Byndoor taluk teachers sang a prayer, and Byndoor tahsildar Srikanth S Hegde welcomed everyone. Teacher Subrahmanya Uppunda delivered a vote of thanks, while Teachers Sudhakar P and Ganapathi Hobalidar compered the program.
