Mangaluru: Swimming Pool inaugurated at Saanidhya

Mangaluru, Apr 28: "Many Philanthropists have been generously donating for the growth of Saanidhya irrespective of their religion. Congratulating Saanidhya for training the intellectually disabled persons through providing the basic needs. Charity must be above religion, caste and creed. Saanidhya with its novel project of Hydro Therapy is a blessing for the Special Children," Fr Melwin Pinto said at the inauguration of Saanidhya Swimming Pool.

Hemacharya, director of Daijiworld media, Ananda Amin international swimmer and wrestler, were the guests of honour. On the occasion Eric John Baptist Dsouza who was instrumental in mobilizing recourse for the Hydro Therapy pool was felicitated. Along with Klen Fernandes director Siloam builders, contractor Santhosh Shetty, Suma D’silva, assistant administrator and Shuha Craft instructor who painted the back drop scenary of the pool. Special Children who excelled in yakshagana and drama were also honoured. Jagadish Shetty, joint secretary, professor Radhakrishna, Mohammed Basheer, Nandakumar, Stephen Pinto and Divya Baliga and advisory committee members Santhosh Shetty and Jyothika Alva were present.

Vasanth Kumar Shetty, administrator of Saanidhya welcomed the gathering. Profe4ssor Radhakrishna proposed a vote of thanks. Psychologist Anagha Bhargav compered the programme.
