Kundapur, Apr 29: “Congress is washed away in the waves of developments of union and state governments. Their life is like a guarantee card without a warranty. When their government ruled in state and centre for 10 years, they did not do any development. They are creating rifts between religions,” said Shobha Karandlaje, union minister.

Shobha spoke to the media near Sangam. She further said, “People of Karnataka gave opportunity to Siddaramaiah in 2013. He introduced Tipu Jayanti and Shadi Bhagya and tried to break the society. Even today he does not speak about development. He is doing vote bank politics by saying that he will build Tipu university and give Rs 10000 to Muslims.

“BJP means development. People will not get fooled by empty speeches. BJP will win in all the five legislative constituencies of Udupi,” she said.
