Mangaluru, Apr 29: "Our country is gradually becoming Aatmanirbhar Bharat. For the BJP, country comes first. But for parties like Congress and JD(S), family politics is their priority. This is the difference between BJP and them," said MP and BJP national spokesperson Dr Syed Zafar Islam.

He was addressing a press meet at BJP's media office here on Saturday, April 29. He said, “If the BJP comes to power, there are a lot of benefits for the people. The state government will effectively implement several programmes of the BJP government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Modi government has introduced several pro-people schemes and programmes. The BJP will not compromise with terrorism and naxalism. The Congress and JD(S) favour anti-social elements.

“We will not compromise on the country's security.

“The BJP government will introduce programmes for all sections of the people. The party will not do appeasement politics. The Congress used Muslims for vote bank politics,” he said.

BJP leaders Monappa Bhandary, Capt Ganesh Karnik, Jagadish Shenava, and others were present.
