Bantwal, May 5: Chandrashekar Poojary, Congress district secretary and advocate, has called on voters to elect Ramanath Rai for the all-round development of Bantwal.
Speaking at a news conference held at the Congress election office, Poojary stressed that the people of Bantwal see Rai as a godly person who was instrumental in the area's development.
"Let us unite behind Ramanath Rai and ensure his victory in the upcoming election," Poojary said.
Also present at the conference were Umesh Safaliga, president of the election campaign committee, former municipal councillors Riaz Kelaginapete and Jospin D’ Souza, municipal council vice president Jacinta D’ Souza, election office in-charge Narayana Naik, Parameshwar Moolya, and others.
