Udupi, May 6: Congress candidate of Kaup legislative constituency Vinay Kumar Sorake said that his top priority is to support small scale industries and provide one job per household.

Sorake visited Manipal technology group and sought votes. He further said, “Labourers are the actual resources of this nation. The security key of the country is in the hands of labourers. Technical organizations of Manipal Group are renowned not only in India but throughout the world. It has given employment to many.

“I have the dream of establishing small industry in Kaup constituency like Manipal group of companies and provide employment to one individual from each house. There was no identity for Kaup constituency. Due to huge industries, people migrated and the land turned into desert. I have turned Kaup taluk into town municipality and provided all facilities. Direct connection will be provided to all villages of Kaup in coming days. Educationally Kaup should become independent by establishing engineering and medical colleges,” he said.

Srinivasa, Sathish Prabhu, Santhosh Kumar, Devu, Sushant, Sandesh, Prakash, Yatisha and Jallesh were present.
