Mangaluru, May 6: The SSLC results are likely to be announced before the assembly election results.

The evaluation process is complete and answer sheets are being re-verified.

The results of the Assembly elections will be announced on May 13. Before that, the Karnataka School Examination and Assessment Board plans to announce the results on May 11 or 12.

As many as 8.42 lac candidates had registered for the exam this time. The exams were held from March 31 to April 15 at 3,305 centres. The evaluation began on April 24 and 63,000 teachers took part in the evaluation process.
