Mangalore, Jul 12: It was a unique experience for youth of Niddodi, when they participated in a day’s workshop on Ideal Leadership conducted at the Niddodi Church Hall, here on Sunday July 10.

Niddodi parish priest, Fr Joseph Lobo inaugurated the workshop and introduced Dr Ronald Cutinha to the audience prior to the commencement of the workshop. He expected an appreciable change in the youth and wished success to the workshop.

In his tireless presentation, Dr Cutinha explained to the participants the necessity in bringing out the hidden ‘leader’ in each of them.  He spoke in simple local language elaborating the meaning of ‘leader’, identification of leadership, model leaders, qualities and duties of a good leader. The session was convincing and an eye-opener to many in attendance.

Power point presentation made the learning easy followed by group discussions which had ample opportunities for participants to exhibit their leadership qualities in the workshop.

A good number of 62 youth attended the workshop and appreciated the extremely knowledgeable programme.  The ICYM president of Niddodi unit, Sharon proposed the vote of thanks.
