Chikmagalur: Beeda Seller Mohan Dies in Mumbai Blast

Chikmagalur, Jul 15:  Mohan Nayak, a resident of Madabooru, N R Pura taluk here lost his life in the Mumbai blast which took place at Mumbai on Wednesday July 13.

Mohan, who had gone to Mumbai in search of work, 20 years ago, was running a beeda shop in front of Oberoi Hotel, Mumbai. He is the second son of Manjunath Nayak and Susheelamma

Mohan’s brother Sudhakar was also working along with him in the beeda shop but luckily just minutes before the bomb blast occurred Sudhakar had left the shop to meet his wife.

Due to the blast, Mohan died on the spot. He is survived by wife Anasuya, and children Akshay (13) and Adarsha(8).The body of the deceased will be brought to his home town today.

Ministers D N Jeevaraj, Raju Prasanna, Madaboor panchayat member among others will visit Mohan’s home and assure them of providing aid from the Government.
