Mangalore, Jul 20: Malaika Household Appliances showroom and Malaika Multi-State Co-operative Credit Society, which were both started in Mumbai over 25 years ago, will open their first branch in the Dakshina Kannada district on the ground floor of Pio Mall, Bejai on Saturday July 23, stated the press release issued by Gilbert Baptist, managing director, Malaika Group. Deputy mayor Geetha N Nayak will inaugurate the showroom on Saturday at 4.00 pm.
Fr Victor Machado, parish priest, St Xavier’s parish, will bless the new premises.Eric Braganza, chairman, Haier Appliances India Private Limited, will be the chief guest on the occasion. KPCC general secretary lawyer Ivan D’Souza will inaugurate Malaika Multi-State Co-operative Credit Society.
Capuchin Fr Peter Cyprian D’Souza, superior of St Ann’s Friary, will also be present on the occasion informed Marceline G Baptist, director of Malaika Group.
Malaika Group will offer special discounts and gifts on various household appliances on the launch of their new showroom in the city, informed Baptist.
