Puttur: MCC Bank Chairman Melvyn D'Cunha Announces New Initiatives

Puttur, Jul 26: The customers’ meet of Mangalore Catholic Co-operative (MCC) Bank’s 13th branch located at Dias Complex on APMC Road was held at Mother of God Church hall here, recently.

Mother of God parish priest Fr Gerald D’Souza was the chief guest who inaugurated the programme.

Fr Gerald conveyed best wishes to MCC Bank that is on the threshold of its centenary jubilee celebrations.

Professor Xavier D’Souza of Vittal Government First Grade College said that Dakshina Kannada district is known for intellectuals while MCC Bank conveys the identity of the Catholic community in banking services. “The excellence in customer services will lead the Bank to progress,” he said.

MCC Bank chairman Melvyn D’Cunha, in his presidential address, said that the Bank has plans to cover all its branches under core banking services, to open ATMs, to advance automobile loans to unemployed youth to take up self-employment, and so on. He also introduced customer services such as ‘Surkasha’ and own-housing plans, besides listening to the grievances of customers.

Bank directors Francis Cutinho, Puttur branch in-charge director Prem Kumar Lobo, and Dias Complex owner Ignatius Dias were present on the dais.

Jeslin and group rendered prayers. Prem Kumar Lobo welcomed the gathering. Marian D’Cunha proposed the vote of thanks while Anand Nazareth compered the programme.

    dear chairman, come on some aggresive bankikng challenges and offers to the customers. Employe good educated and ergertic young people who are competent and not the aya ram gaya ram on relations and wastas relation based, provide state of the art technology to people to perform and so on....
