Mangaluru: DK District Wine Merchants Association honours Dr A Sadananda Shetty

Mangaluru, Sep 11: The Dakshina Kannada District Wine Merchants Association came together to host a programme, recognizing the contributions of Dr A Sadananda Shetty. During the award ceremony, Dr Shetty emphasized the power of unity and consensus within any organization, emphasizing that it enables them to confront and overcome any challenges they may face. He expressed heartfelt gratitude for the recognition bestowed upon him.

M Ganesh Shetty, the president of the association, lauded Dr Sadananda Shetty's unwavering support during the challenging times faced by the industry. He hailed Dr Shetty as a dedicated individual who has made significant contributions to the realms of social service, business, sports and education, all without prejudice.

Savanur Sitarama Rai extended his best wishes to Dr Shetty, acknowledging his outstanding achievements. The event also saw the felicitation of officials representing various taluks and zones. Among the notable attendees were district vice president J L Pinto, Narayan P M, Mangaluru Taluk president K T Suvarna, district secretary Omprasad Bardila, as well as presidents of taluk zones, officers, members and other esteemed guests.

Chandranath Attavar the district treasurer, read a letter of appreciation on behalf of the association, while Dinesh Anchan expressed gratitude. The narrative of the event was skilfully presented by Bhagyaraj.
