Udupi: Padmaprasad Jain elected president of South Kanara Photographers Association

Udupi, Sep 29: Padmaprasad Jain has been elected as president of South Kanara Photographers association that consists of photographers from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi.

Karunaker Kanangi has been elected as convener, Dayanand Bantwal as chief secretary, Navin Rai Panjala as treasurer, Ramesh Kalashree Mangaluru and Jayakar Suvarna Udupi as vice-presidents, Harish P Kotian Mulki and Eric D’Souza Brahmavar as joint secretaries, Krishnarao Kaup and Ramesh Hosabettu as organising secretaries, Ravi Kotian Moodbidri as photography secretary, Ranjit Kundapura and Bharadwaj Belthangady as sports secretaries, Chidanand Ullal as cultural secretary and Harish Rao as media secretary.

The election process of SKPA office bearers was held at St Sebastian Hall, Mangaluru and it was conducted by former district president Anand Bantwal.
