Mangaluru, Sep 30: Miscreants entered a house when the inmates were not there by breaking open the lock and damaged household items at Boloor under Barke police station limits.

Ratnakar Puthran, a resident of Boloor, is living at his daughter’s house since 11 months as he has water supply issue at his house at Boloor. However, he used to visit his house every day, clean it and go back to his daughter’s house.

On Friday September 28, Ratnakar came to his house at 11 am cleaned it and left to his daughter’s house at Ashoknagar. Around 7 pm on the same day, his neighbour Vasanta called him and said that the door of Ratnakar’s house is open and the inverter battery is kept out.

Ratnakar rushed back to Boloor and on entering the house saw that his house is ransacked by some miscreants. The miscreants had smashed household items including TV, clock etc. The loss is estimated to be Rs 30000.
