Mangaluru, Oct 24: The annual day celebration of St Theresa Ward of St Theresa Church, Paldane, took place at the residential premises of ward members Valerian Braggs and Nisha Braggs on Sunday, October 22.

Presiding over the function, the parish priest of the church, Fr Alban D’Souza, said that this celebration will strengthen the unity of the ward members. He appreciated the activities of the ward and expressed his best wishes to the members. The former gurkar Edward Pereira was felicitated.

The church vice president, Roshan Lasrado, secretary Austin Monteiro, the local corporator, Bhaskar K, Elias Fernandes of Four Winds Mass Communications, Sr Regina of Raphael Convent, and leaders and representatives of other wards, St Theresa Ward representatives Sunita Fernandes, Michael Coelho, and others, participated in the programme.

The ward chief, Roshan Monteiro, welcomed the gathering, and Pricilla Fernandes read the annual report. The members conducted various entertainment programmes, including dance by children, women, and youth, as well as a value-based skit. Eunic Rego and Rionna Montiero were the programme anchors.
