Mangaluru: ICYM Nirkan Unit Organises Blood Donation Camp 2023

Mangaluru, Oct 24: The Indian Catholic Youth Movement Nirkan Unit in association with Health Commission Nirkan, Red Drop Mangalore and Father Muller Medical College, Kankanady organized blood donation camp on Sunday, October 22 at 9:30 in the morning at Nirkan School Hall.

The camp commenced with a stage programme. Fr Leo William Lobo – director of ICYM Nirkan Unit, Dr Pooja Hegde – Department of Pathology, Fr muller Charitable Hospital, Mangaluru; Vincent Kiran Bennis – vice-president & Shanthi Veigas – secretary of Nirkan Parish Pastoral Council; Austin Lobo – co-ordinator of Commissions and President of Catholic Sabha Nirkan Unit; Lavisha Dasy Dsouza – Lady vice-president & Kevin Rodrigues – Red Drop Representative of ICYM Mangalore Diocese; Nihan Sequeira – president & Wilson Pinto – secretary of ICYM Bantwal Deanery; Jeffery Rodrigues – convenor of Commissions Nirkan; Joyline Rodrigues – Red Drop Representative of ICYM Nirkan Unit; Sweedal Rodrigues – president and Renita Cardoza, secretary of ICYM Nirkan Unit were present at this occasion.

Sweedal Rodrigues welcomed the gatherings florally whereas Joyline Rodrigues conveyed vote of thanks to all those who helped for the event. Kiran Moras – Ex ICYM member of Nirkan Unitcompered the programme.

Approximately 50 members registered for blood donation, 38 members were eligible to donate blood and made it a successful one.

Breakfast was provided for the people who came to donate blood.
