Kundapur Dasara Mahotsava held with grandeur

Kundapur, Oct 25: The grand procession of the idol of Goddess Sharada, worshipped during the Kundapur Dasara Mahotsava, took place with great pomp and show until the town's heart from the premises of Sri Narayana Guru Yuva Mandala in Kundapura on Tuesday night.

Starting from the Sri Narayana Guru Kalyana Mantapa, the grand procession proceeded through the new bus stand, old bus stand, Paarijata Circle, Shastri Circle, and ended with the immersion of the idol of Goddess Sharada in the Panchagangavali river.

In this colorful procession, various tableaus like tiger dance, the hit movie ‘Kanatara’ and Mission Chandrayana by the ISSRO and other were displayed with unique presentation. Additionally, performances such as Kunita Bhajane, Mahishamardhini, and many more tableaus captivated the onlookers.

The Kundapur Billava Samaja Seva Sangha president Ashok Pujari, Sri Narayana Guru Yuva Mandala president Yogish Pujari, along with leaders such as Narayana Billava, Divakar Kadgimane, Rajesh Kadgimane, Manju Billava, and members of the Billava Samaja Seva Sangha, Sri Narayana Guru Yuva Mandala, Mahila Mandali members and dignitaries were present at the event.

Thousands of people lined the streets to witness the grand procession with great enthusiasm and joy.
