Kadaba, Nov 6: Friction among a couple ended up in the tragic death of wife, while the husband is fighting for his life. This incident is reported from Chapalla of Kudmaru village of the taluk.
Kusuma (39) and her husband Sanjeeva used to quarrel frequently. Accordingly, on Saturday also both began the verbal duel. In a fit of rage both consumed poison. Locals who came to know about the issue, conveyed the matter to the relatives of couple. They arrived and took both to the hospital. However, Kusuma succumbed. Sanjeeva who was critical was rushed to hospital in Mangaluru for higher treatment.
Bellare police have registered a case and are investigating further.
