Doha: Indian Cultural Centre constitutes new management committee for 2025-26 term

Doha, Mar 3: Indian Cultural Centre (ICC) under the aegis of Embassy of India, Qatar, has recently constituted a new management committee for the 2025–2026 term.

Led by president A P Manikantan, the committee comprises elected and nominated office bearers. The committee includes Shantanu Deshpande as vice president, Abraham K Joseph as general secretary, and Afsal Abdul Majeed and Pradeep Pillai as secretaries. Additionally, Biswajit Banerji will serve as head of Finance, Nandini Abbagouni as head of cultural activities, Rakesh Wagh as head of HR, Admin & Consular, Ravindra Prasad as head of affiliation, Sandeep Sriramareddy as head of IT & Social Media, Anu Sharma as head of educational activities, and Venkappa Bhagavatula as head of in-house activities.

The new team will work towards fostering cultural, educational, and social initiatives that strengthen the bond between the Indian diaspora and the local community in Qatar.

With a vision to promote Indian heritage and tradition, the committee is dedicated to organizing diverse programs and activities that benefit the Indian community in Qatar. The ICC remains committed to its mission of community welfare, collaboration, and strengthening Indo-Qatari relations through meaningful engagement and initiatives.
