St Aloysius in collaboration with Kanachur Hospital hosts session on the Importance of CPR

Mangaluru, March 13: Students of the MA Journalism and Mass Communication programme at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), in collaboration with Kanachur Hospital & Research Centre, will be organizing a workshop and talk on the Importance of CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) for the students at Padua College of Commerce and Management on March 15.

This workshop aims to make the students aware of the importance of CPR so that it can be helpful to save lives whenever possible. The resource persons for the workshop are Dr Rohan S Monis, chief administrative officer, Dr Mohammad Afsal, Dr Afeefa Hakeem, residents, department of emergency medicine, Kanachur Hospital & Research Centre, Mangaluru. Their expertise on the field will really help the students better understand the importance of CPR. The doctors will also demonstrate how to correctly administrate CPR to the students.

The convener of the workshop is Wilson Pereira, assistant professor, department of journalism and mass communication at St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) and coordinated by Ali Musba and Kashyap Puttur.
