Mumbai, Apr 12: The results of Celebrity MasterChef India are in, and actor Gaurav Khanna has emerged as the winner of the coveted title. Gaurav was awarded the golden Celebrity MasterChef trophy, a prize purse of over Rs 20 lac, and the highly coveted chef's coat, cementing his position as a culinary champion.

Sony Entertainment Television took to Instagram to announce the winner, writing, “From the TV screen to the MasterChef title, Gaurav Khanna has done it all! Announcing India's first Celebrity MasterChef winner!” His culinary expertise and heartwarming personality won over the judges and the audience, ultimately securing his victory in the finale round.

Nikki Tamboli was named the first runner-up, while Tejasswi Prakash took the second runner-up position. The show’s esteemed panel of judges included renowned chefs Farah Khan, Vikas Khanna, and Ranveer Brar. A special guest appearance by celebrity chef Sanjeev Kapoor added extra excitement to the finale episode.

During the finale, Gaurav became emotional when the judges praised him for his dish. Farah Khan, Sanjeev Kapoor, and Ranveer Brar embraced him, showering him with compliments. Chef Sanjeev Kapoor’s words to Gaurav were particularly touching: "Ab tak shayad emotions se bhag kar yahan tak pahuche ho. Aaj se zindagi shuru karo, emotions se jud ke," meaning "Maybe you've run from emotions till now, but from today, begin your life, connected to your emotions."

Other notable contestants who participated in the competition included Dipika Kakar Ibrahim, Abhijeet Sawant, Rajiv Adatia, Faisal Shaikh, and Usha Nadkarni, among others. Gaurav Khanna's victory in Celebrity MasterChef India marks a remarkable milestone in his career, as he now takes home not just the trophy but also the admiration of fans across the nation.
