Mumbai, Apr 14: Bollywood’s legendary father-son duo Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan continue to give fans glimpses of their warm and cherished bond. In a recent blog post, Amitabh Bachchan shared an emotional note about a meaningful gift from his son one that deeply touched him in the era of digital communication.

The megastar revealed that Abhishek gifted him a pen, knowing his father’s fondness for handwritten notes in a world increasingly dominated by digital devices. “The age of handwriting has been overtaken by the punches on the black square,” Big B reflected in his post, adding, “But in the generosity of Abhishek, he gave me a pen, as a gesture that acknowledged that his father still often prefers to use his hands in the usage of the ink.”

In his post, the Agneepath actor also noted a unique feature of the pen that made the gift even more thoughtful—its nib was specially designed for left-handed writers. Interestingly, both Amitabh and Abhishek are left-handed. “Another factor that Abhishek picked up from the store he picked the pen, that the nibs of pens are designed separately for the left-handed, and the right-handed,” he shared.

Big B further posted a picture of a handwritten note he penned using the gifted pen, symbolising a blend of emotion, nostalgia, and tradition.

The emotional blog post also mentioned his spiritual side. Amitabh expressed his gratitude for the blessings he received from Mumbai’s iconic Siddhivinayak and Babulnath temples. “Blessed this morning by the Lord Ganesha at Siddhivinayak, by presenting to me the blessings draped over my shoulder… and the blessings at the mandir at Babulnath,” he wrote.

Fans poured in their love across social media platforms, admiring not only the bond between father and son but also the value placed on sentiment in an increasingly tech-driven world.
