Mumbai, Apr 19: Mumbaikars woke up to a pleasantly overcast morning today, with the city continuing to witness cloudy skies for the past few days. While the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has not issued any rain alert, the weather has brought a much-needed break from the intense summer heat.
According to IMD, Mumbai will see predominantly cloudy skies on April 19, with temperatures ranging between 24°C and 33°C. As of 9 a.m., the city recorded a temperature of 29°C, with humidity at 77% and light winds blowing at approximately 6 km/h, offering a mildly breezy start to the weekend.

Despite the overcast conditions, no official warning for rain has been issued for Mumbai today. However, light drizzles in nearby regions like Vidarbha, Konkan, and Goa may be influencing the city’s weather pattern. Thane Taluka is expected to receive light rainfall between 0.1 to 5 mm in the next 24 hours.
The IMD predicts that Mumbai will see clear skies return on April 20, with temperatures forecasted to vary from a low of 24°C to a high of 34°C on Sunday. Sunset today is expected at 6:57 p.m.
Though no heatwave alert has been issued, residents are advised to stay hydrated and take precautions as temperatures are likely to rise during the day.
