Mumbai, Apr 21: Veteran actor Shehzad Khan, best known for playing Bhalla in Andaz Apna Apna, shared nostalgic memories ahead of the film's re-release in 2025. He recalled how even big stars like Salman Khan and Aamir Khan had no makeup vans during the shoot, often preparing for scenes under umbrellas or in small makeup rooms. “It felt more like a picnic than work,” he said.
One of his fondest memories was getting stuck at Coimbatore airport on their return from Ooty. "We laughed like crazy, and the atmosphere was so joyful," he reminisced.

Excited about the re-release on April 25, 2025, Shehzad expressed, "I’m more excited now than I was in 1994. Today’s audience should experience what real comedy is." He also reflected on his long connection with Salman Khan, saying their families had known each other for years.
Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Andaz Apna Apna starred Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Raveena Tandon, Karisma Kapoor, Paresh Rawal, and Shakti Kapoor. Initially a box-office failure, the film has since become a cult classic.
The film will return to cinemas in a 4K, Dolby 5.1 remastered version. The re-release was announced by Vinay Pictures, promising a fresh experience of this beloved comedy.
