CPR demonstration & role play conducted at SMVITM

Udupi, May 30: The NSS-YRC Cell of Shri Madhwa Vadiraja Institute of Technology and Management (SMVITM) organised a CPR demonstration and role play on May 28, at the institution.

The event featured engaging role-play acts by students, creatively simulating emergency scenarios to emphasise the importance of immediate response in critical situations. This was followed by a live demonstration of Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) techniques, aimed at equipping attendees with essential life-saving skills.

The programme saw enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and staff of SMVITM, and Niraamaya College of Nursing & Allied Sciences, emphasising the importance of basic emergency response training.

The programme was graced by the presence of the principals of SMVITM and Niraamaya College of Nursing & Allied Sciences, the CEO of Shri Sode Vadiraja Mutt Educational Institutions, members of the NSS-YRC Committee, and others whose support made the session more valuable.

The NSS-YRC Cell continues to promote such impactful, awareness-driven initiatives, fostering a socially responsible and health-conscious campus environment.
