Bengaluru, Jul 22: Excitement is building up as the much-awaited reality show ‘Bigg Boss Kannada Season 12’, hosted by Sandalwood star ‘Kiccha’ Sudeep, is all set to hit screens soon. Adding to the buzz, a major update has emerged regarding the show’s iconic house — it is all set to shift locations once again.

While the last few seasons were filmed at a specially constructed house near Tavarekere, nestled between Tavare Lake and a massive banyan tree, sources have now revealed that the Bigg Boss house will return to its earlier location — Innovative Film City on the outskirts of Bengaluru. A brand-new house is reportedly under construction at the location, with expectations of a fresh design and upgraded features.

The reality show, which began with its first two seasons being shot in Lonavala, Pune, moved to Bengaluru from Season 3 onwards. Seasons 3 to 9, including the OTT edition, were all hosted at Innovative Film City before shifting to the custom-built location near Kumbalgodu. Now, the production team has decided to bring the show back to its roots.

There is also speculation that the new season will kick off in the last week of September. Fans can breathe easy, as Sudeep, who had previously expressed doubts about continuing, has confirmed his return as the host for Season 12, extending his association with the show to four more seasons.

As preparations are underway, expectations are high for a grander set, innovative tasks, and an engaging line-up of contestants. Viewers can look forward to another gripping season under the charismatic leadership of Kiccha Sudeep.
