Mumbai, Jul 31: Fashion designer and reality TV star Seema Sajdeh, former wife of actor Sohail Khan, has opened up about her personal life, relationship choices, and her thoughts on marriage in a candid chat with Filmfare.

Seema, who gained popularity with Netflix's Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, spoke about her current relationship with Vikram Ahuja, whom she was engaged to before eloping with Sohail Khan in 1998. The couple, Seema and Sohail, ended their 24-year marriage in 2022.

Sharing insights into her bond with Vikram, Seema said, “I’ve known Vikram since I was 13. We grew up together. Our relationship today is more about solid friendship and companionship than butterflies in the stomach. At this age, I look for stability—something that lasts.”

When asked about the possibility of marriage, she added, “I’m going to be 49 soon. We both have our lives and children. Being together is a conscious choice we’ve made—without pressure or dependency. A piece of paper won’t change that.”

In a rare statement on her marriage and its end, Seema noted that she cannot tolerate disrespect in a relationship. When questioned about infidelity, she said, “I’m not condoning it, but people do slip. It’s how you navigate the phase that matters. Infidelity isn’t a deal-breaker for me, especially when children are involved. Their stability comes first.”

Seema and Sohail share two sons, Nirvaan and Yohaan, and continue to co-parent even after their separation. They have been spotted vacationing as a family post-divorce.

Her honest take on relationships, marriage, and parenting reflects a modern, mature outlook on love and life after divorce.
