Mumbai, Feb 28: Television star Ankita Lokhande delighted fans by introducing her beloved pet cat, Mau, on the celebrity cooking reality show Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment, describing the appearance as a proud and heartwarming milestone.
Sharing glimpses from the episode on social media, Ankita expressed her joy over Mau’s national television debut. “Such a special episode coming your way. Our little Mau made her debut on national TV… she has no idea what’s happening on screen, but we know… and our hearts are just full. It’s such a proud, happy feeling to introduce our baby to all of you. Mau meri Mau. Love thy pets,” she wrote.
In one of the pictures, Ankita is seen sitting on the stage floor, beaming with happiness as she cradles her fluffy feline companion.
Ankita and her husband, businessman Vicky Jain, adopted Mau in 2024, and since then the pet has become an inseparable part of their family. At the time of the adoption, the actress had shared an adorable video of the couple playing, cuddling, and showering affection on their new pet.
Welcoming Mau into their lives, Ankita had penned a heartfelt note: “Welcome to the family, our little princess Mau Lokhande Jain! Mommy and Daddy are already head over heels in love with you. Your tiny meows and cuddles have stolen our hearts. May your little paws bring immense joy and happiness to our lives.”
She further wrote, “Congratulations to us, the proud parents! May our lives be filled with laughter, snuggles, and endless joy thanks to your adorable antics, Mau. Here’s to many adventures and cozy moments with our little bundle of joy. You are loved and cherished already, our sweet daughter.”
Ankita married Vicky Jain on December 14, 2021, in a traditional ceremony in Mumbai. The couple later participated in the reality show Bigg Boss 17, where their relationship dynamics drew significant public attention.
Currently, they are seen together on Laughter Chefs – Unlimited Entertainment, hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by celebrity chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
