Bigg Boss 17 fame Anurag Dobhal alleges mental harassment, says he may quit YouTube

Mumbai, Mar 5: YouTuber and Bigg Boss 17 contestant Anurag Dobhal, popularly known as UK07 Rider, has released an emotional video alleging mental harassment and torture by his own family members.

Days after posting a disturbing note on Instagram claiming he would expose those responsible for his suffering, Anurag uploaded a nearly two-hour-long video, calling it his “last vlog” and announcing that he is quitting YouTube.

Breaking down in tears, he said his life had changed drastically over the past few months. “Meri life itni drastically change hui hai ki maine kabhi nahi socha tha ki zindagi aise patak ke chhoregi,” he said, adding that he never imagined life would leave him shattered in this manner.

In the video, Anurag accused his parents and brother of subjecting him to extreme emotional pressure. He alleged that he was forced to apologise in front of relatives and was humiliated repeatedly.

“Mere se haath judwayege, pair padhwaayege… Papa aur mumma ne iss level tak torture kiya ki bola ki naa hum khush rahenge naa tujhe khush rehne denge,” he claimed.

The YouTuber further alleged that his family opposed his inter-caste marriage and refused to attend his wedding, which took place in May last year. He said he had to manage the ceremony on his own and that he and his wife were not allowed to enter the family home.

Anurag also claimed that his brother threatened to “expose” him on social media and forcibly took control of his properties and even his pets.

During the video, Anurag opened up about earlier challenges in his life, including being diagnosed with a brain tumour at the age of 14 and facing academic pressure from his family. He said he worked as a tutor to pursue his dreams and always prioritised his parents’ needs over his own.

He further alleged that he attempted suicide amid mounting pressure and emotional distress. “I am under a lot of depression… Mujhe samajh nahi aaraha kaise yeh feeling eliminate karoon,” he said, adding that he had not eaten for five days and felt mentally exhausted.

In an emotional message, he wrote that after he is gone, his parents and others may “say many things or even lie”, but insisted that he was not wrong. He also expressed anguish over his strained relationship with his wife, Ritika, claiming that she had been influenced by others and left his side.

The couple had shared pictures from their wedding on social media and, in September last year, announced that they were expecting their first child.

As the video continues to circulate widely online, fans and fellow creators have expressed concern over Anurag’s mental health and well-being.
