Hyderabad, Mar 19: The shooting of director Yogesh KMC’s pan-India action drama The Black Gold, starring Samyuktha in the lead, is in its final stages, with the makers planning a release around June or July this year.

Producer Razesh Danda revealed that only about five days of talkie portions remain to be completed. He described the film as a high-scale action entertainer, centred on a gripping face-off between a gun-wielding police officer and a formidable antagonist.

The project, being mounted on a large scale, is expected to showcase Samyuktha in a completely new avatar—a bold and intense femme-fatale cop role that marks a significant shift from her previous performances.

Sources indicate that post-production work is progressing alongside filming. The movie promises a fresh narrative style, high-octane action sequences, and unexpected twists aimed at setting it apart from conventional action dramas.

Backed by Hasya Movies in association with Maganti Pictures, The Black Gold is considered one of the most ambitious ventures in the actress’s career. The film also features a strong supporting cast, including Murali Sharma, Rao Ramesh, Nassar, Manish Wadhwa, Ramki, and Adukalam Naren among others.

Music for the film is being composed by Sam CS, with two special songs expected to be part of the soundtrack.

The makers are planning a simultaneous release across multiple languages, including Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, and Kannada, positioning The Black Gold as one of the major pan-Indian releases to watch out for in 2026.
