Mumbai, Mar 21: Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan is set to dive into an intense action schedule for his upcoming film King, with a major stunt sequence lined up in Mumbai next week.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film is gearing up for a crucial action set-piece, for which a team of 10 Russian fighters has reportedly been flown in to enhance the scale and realism of the sequence.

The shoot will take place at Golden Tobacco Studios, where an elaborate set resembling an old, abandoned mill has been specially constructed. Filming of the action sequences is scheduled to begin on March 23 and will continue for nearly a week.
Sources associated with the production said the sequence is among the most ambitious action stretches planned for the film. The stunts are said to be gritty and realistic in tone, with stunt performers undergoing weeks of preparation ahead of the shoot.
The development indicates that King is shaping up to be a high-octane entertainer, with a strong focus on stylised yet grounded action.
The film is slated for release on December 24.
