Mumbai, Mar 24: Bollywood actor Sanya Malhotra on Tuesday announced that she has begun shooting for her upcoming film Sundar Poonam.
The film is directed by Pulkit, known for Bhakshak, and is backed by Tips Films and Abundantia Entertainment, produced by Kumar Taurani and Vikram Malhotra.
Written by Jyotsana Nath along with the director, the film is inspired by real-life crime events. It also features Aditya Rawal in a key role.
Malhotra, known for her performances in films like Dangal, Badhaai Ho and Kathal, shared the update on social media, posting pictures and captioning them, “#SundarPoonam It begins.”
Recently, Prime Video unveiled the film’s first look, showing the actor dressed as a bride in traditional attire.
Her latest release was Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari (2025), directed by Shashank Khaitan, which also starred Janhvi Kapoor, Varun Dhawan and Rohit Saraf.
