Mumbai, Apr 20: Actor Arshad Warsi marked his birthday on Sunday with a simple yet cheerful cake-cutting celebration alongside members of the media.
During an interaction with photographers, the Munna Bhai M.B.B.S. and Jolly LLB star revealed that a few prominent figures from the film industry consistently make it a point to wish him every year—right at midnight.
Warsi shared that legendary actors Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan are among the first to call him on his special day. “As soon as the clock strikes 12:01, I get their call without fail,” he said, expressing gratitude for the affection he continues to receive from colleagues in the industry. He added that his circle of friends within the film fraternity has only grown stronger over time.

The actor has previously shared screen space with Amitabh Bachchan in Zamaanat: And Justice for All, directed by S. Ramanathan, which also featured Karisma Kapoor and Anupam Kher. He also worked with Jaya Bachchan in the 1996 film Tere Mere Sapne.
Looking ahead, Warsi is set to appear in the fourth installment of the popular Dhamaal franchise alongside actors like Ajay Devgn, Riteish Deshmukh, Sanjay Mishra, and Jaaved Jaaferi, among others.
He will also be part of the ensemble cast of the upcoming comedy Welcome to the Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan. The film features a star-studded lineup including Akshay Kumar, Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Jacqueline Fernandez, Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Johnny Lever, Lara Dutta, Shreyas Talpade, Tusshar Kapoor, Daler Mehndi, Farida Jalal, Krushna Abhishek, Kiku Sharda, Kiran Kumar, Mukesh Tiwari, Yashpal Sharma, Vindu Dara Singh, Urvashi Rautela, Puneet Issar, Sudesh Berry, Hemant Pandey, Zakir Hussain, and Sayaji Shinde in key roles.
