Bangalore: Lokayukta Case Against Yeddy, Sons Adjourned till April 18

Bangalore, Mar 24: The Lokayukta Special Court’s hearing against former Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and his sons B Y Raghavendra and B Y Vijayendra, all of whom appeared before the court on Saturday, in connection with the two complaints regarding alleged irregularities over denotification of lands has been adjourned till April 18.

When the case came up for hearing, the Lokayukta Special Court Judge N K Sudhindra Rao, directed the complaiant advocate Srirajin Basha to furnish the list of witnesses in the cases and adjourned further hearing.

Yeddyurappa and his sons -- B Y Raghavendra and B Y Vijayendra --were present in the court.
 

Reddy’s Judicial Custody Extended till April 3
 
Meanwhile, the CBI, which is hearing the illegal mining case against Bellary mining lord and former Tourism Minister G Janardhana Reddy and his personal assistant Mehfooz Ali Khan, extended judicial custody of the two arrested in connection with the illegal mining case till April 3.

Additional Civil and Sessions Court Judge and CBI special court judge B M Angadi ordered extension of judicial custody after CBI moved an application in this regard.

Associated Mining Corporation (AMC) and Deccan Mining Syndicate (DMC) owned by Reddy and his wife Aruna Lakshmi have been facing probe over charges of illegal mining.

Former minister and Congress leader V Muniyappa and few other officials are the other accused in the case.
