Daijiworld Media Network - Mangalore (PS)

Mangalore, Mar 25: An employee in the accounts department of Mangalore City Corporation was suspended on Saturday March 24 on charges of negligence.

Padmini, who was in the accounts department, allegedly misplaced the salary vouchers to be paid to civil workers in the MCC. Their salary hence got delayed.

The irate civil workers took the matter to MCC joint commissioner Srikant who in turn brought it to the attention of MCC commissioner Harish Kumar. The civil workers alleged that Padmini's negligence and carelessness had resulted in the salaries getting delayed.

Harish Kumar immediately ordered Padmini's suspension and ordered an enquiry.

The suspension order will be reviewed after the enquiry is over.

Padmini received her deserved suspension believing that her action was intentional. But anyone there to sign the suspension order for MCC Commissioner or Joint Commissioner for their failure in many respects while serving common people. We would like to see one order at least for non-repair of internal roads

Mr.Harish Kumar, please ascertain whether reported complaint is genuine or not.It is equally important to know that whether Padmini's act is with malafide or bonafide intentions. If there is malafide intention then only she deserve punitive action. Also ensure the complaint is not prejudieced one.In Mangalore anything is possible.
