Mumbai, Aug 20: The iconic voice behind the popular reality show Bigg Boss, Vijay Vikram Singh, has urged aspiring contestants to stop approaching him for help in securing a place on the show, clarifying that the programme follows an invitation-based selection process rather than auditions.
In a video shared on Instagram on Thursday, Singh said he receives numerous messages from people seeking entry into Bigg Boss. He clarified that contacting him or anyone else associated with the show cannot guarantee selection.
“Bigg Boss is an invitation-based reality show, not an audition-based reality show. You cannot get selected by messaging someone, and no one can help you get selected,” Singh said.

Singh further explained that he has no role in choosing the contestants and cannot influence the selection process. He described himself as a narrator associated with the show who lends his voice to the programme and said he is one of the two voices heard on the show.
He emphasised that he has no connection whatsoever with the candidate selection procedure and urged people to stop sending him messages seeking a Bigg Boss entry.
Singh also warned viewers against individuals who claim that they can arrange entry into the reality show.
“If anyone tells you that they can get you entry into Bigg Boss, they are lying. Be cautious,” he said, advising aspiring contestants not to fall for such claims.
Instead of approaching people connected with the show, Singh suggested that those hoping to enter Bigg Boss should focus on building a strong public profile and establishing their own identity.
Bigg Boss 20 is scheduled to premiere on Sep 6, with Salman Khan returning as the host. The makers have not yet officially revealed the complete list of contestants.
