M'lore: Book Distribution Programme Held at DK Higher Primary School Thumbay

Mangalore, Apr 12: Exercise books were distributed to the all the students of DK Higher Primary Model School, Thumbay at a memorable function held in the school premises on Tuesday April 10.

Dhoomavathi Gatti, president, Grama Panchayat, Thumbay presided over the function. The programme was inaugurated by lighting a lamp by Chandrashekar Shetty, member of Zilla Panchayat. The initiative of this programme was empowered by Sudhakar Thumbay, president of Billava Balaga, Dubai.

Chandrashekar Shetty, in his inaugural speech, expressed his views that wealth owned is meaningful only when it is properly utilized and Sudhakr Thumbay has proved it. Sudhakr Thumbay appealed everyone to contribute one percent of their earning to the human rights. 

Diwakar Pambadabettu, vice president of Grama Panchayat, vice presidents Gopal Suvarna, Mohammed Olavvor and Keshava, Praveen Thumbay, member of Grama Panchayat, Monappa Majji, ex member of Grama Panchayat, Dinesh Rai, member of Grama Panchayat, Vittal Shetty Dubai, Rajesh Kuttar Dubai, Dinesh Amin, Abdul Rahiman, president, committee of school, Nagesh, Abdul Azeez, Usman, Ummardulla, Babu, school head master among many others were present.

Vinaya Kumari gave the vote of thanks.

Praveen Rubi compeered the programme.
