Mangalore, May 13: A small parish, St John De Britto Narampady, consisting of 240 families with 70 rich years of history,  has given to 25 priests to the church already. The 25th priest Fr Sunil Crasta Son of Sylvester Crasta of kumbdaje village of Narmpady parish was ordained on May 9 at Narampady church by Archbihshop Vincent Concesavo of Delhi dioccese.

The auxiliary bishop of Delhi Fr Franco Mullakkal was also present. After the ordination and the holy mass, the new priest was felicitated and all the 25 priests were honoured  by the Bishop with a garland and a memento.

Nearly 1,000 people were present for the celebration. To mark this great occassion, the new liturgical hymn album of Fr Walter D'Souza and Fr Maxim D'Souza was released by the Arch Bihop Fr Vincent Consesavo. The money generated from the Album will be used for the new church project of Shaktinagar parish, Mangalore.

Fr Sunil D'Silva, vicar of St John De Britto Church Narampady organized the programme. Fr Maxim D'Souza anchored the programme, Fr Liguory Crasta raised the toast and Fr Sunil D'Silva welcommed the gathering. The new priest Fr Sunil Crast proposed the vote of thanks.
