Katrina Kaif turns a year older


Mumbai, July 16 (IBNS): The British Indian Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif, who is super busy these days for the promotion of her upcoming film ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, turned 28 on Monday.
 
Katrina made her Bollywood debut in the movie ‘Boom’, in 2003 and later on featured in hit films like ‘Sarkar’, ‘Race’, ‘Raajneeti’, ‘Mere Brother Ki Dulhan’ and others.
 
Sources revealed that Katrina, who prefers to a have a quiet birthday, will be busy with her works this birthday. To fulfill her professional commitments the actress will be busy shooting for her upcoming projects.
 
In a recent promotional event of ‘Ek Tha Tiger’, Katrina’s co-star and actor Salman Khan said that Katrina is loved by everyone and is very popular among the fans.
 
In a lighter vein Salman added that Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Karan Malhotra everyone worked hard for the film Agneepath, but it was Katrina who actually stole the show with her item song, ‘Chikni Chameli’.
 
The actress will soon be sharing her screen space with Shah Rukh Khan and Anushka Sharma in Yash Chopra’s movie, and Aamir Khan in ‘Dhoom 3: Back in Action’.
 
Media reports claimed that Katrina will feature in the role an Indian princess in Ketan Mehta’s upcoming project ‘Noor’.
 
Katrina, one of the favourites of the ad world, endorses brands like Naskshatra, Veet, Lux, national airline of the United Arab Emirates – Etihad Airways and others.
 
Katrina had a romantic relationship with Salman but later the two broke up though they remained friends.

Her name has often been linked with her co-stars like Ranbir Kapoor.
 
Her next movie ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ will hit the theatres in August.
