DC Mr. A.B. Ibrahim is an officer and a gentleman. He is active and dynamic. He works very hard,But it looks like his orders are not taken seriously by his fellow workers.B.C.Road is complete mess. There is no traffic discipline.Vehicles are moving from all direction.Even though police dept is nearby, one police officer is assigned most of the time to clear traffic mess.Roads are in very bad shape.Under the bridge vehicles,Taxis,Two wheeler are parked.Evening time street food out lets are mushrooming under the bridge.Place is filthy and non hygienic.People eat, wash ,and spit.As the flyover begins or ends,There comes the dump yard ready to welcome you with foul smell.KSRTC & many vehicle passes through this horrific area with windows open, One can easily imagine the state of the people who travel through these area.Bangalore travelers are travelling via B.C.Road.If we don't take proper interest in cleanliness, traffic discipline,I am sure B.C.Road, will be projecting unhealthy image to others.

Well done DC Mr. A.B. Ibrahim. I hope our other senior officials & Bureaucrats follow your example and act on issues required to be sorted out in our city / District. We want pro-action Officials and not pro-talking officials.
Hats off to you sir for setting example.
Other side of this issue, only when officials get down to live like a common man, travel like us on these bad roads, traffic congestion, will they realise plea that we the common people go through.
Great job sir, keep doing good work for we need Officials like you.!!
We only hope and pray that the Sand Mafia doesn't get you transferred for doing a good job but not so good for them though..!!

If we have "active DC" like Ibrahim sir in every district then I think No need any type of politician.
IAS officer very well studied and they knows the how to follow administration beside the politician.

    Good Job Sir,

I would like to see all officers and authorities to work like this. I am sure you will get thousands of such instances if you drive on a road. I was thinking while driving today. Like, they can pick up a road for a day and notice all the required actions to be taken on that road. It can be street lamp, un necessary obstacles on the road, humps either not in a good condition or hump with out any paint or marking , path holes on the road... note everything and immediately make the contractors to work on that. How quick and good it will be. With in a short period so may roads will be perfect. But unfortunately it still looks like a dream. any ways, heard a lot about the DC. Let him be blessed with good health and we Mangaloreans be blessed to have him for longer period here so that we can get best usages of his stay here at Mangalore.

But ultimate question remains open, what happened to the lorries and culprit who was smuggling the sand. I am sure it's not so difficult to find out who and all involved in this illegal activity. Trust it's investigated completely and action taken against all. Can anybody ?
