Warning sign boards always in English. You should aware that tourists are coming not only from Karnataka other states and foreign countries also. There are sign boards in Kannada, But Non-Kannadigas couldn't read and drown away by the sea waves.

Most of the visitors from north Karnataka are unaware of the risk of being drowned by swimming in the beach. Therefore, Statistics related to drowning (particularly region of the people drowned) to be displayed at the vicinity of the swimmers which I am sure will reduce such tragic incidents in future.

    RIP departed souls.

There should be warning boards especially for people coming from non-coastal areas. Most of these guys will never have seen beach in their life and they go crazy when they see one. and they ignore the fact that beaches are not like the normal rivers, the currents and waves are stronger especially during rainy season. I live near the beach and most of the people who drown are from other cities. even now when I go to the beach in the evening, my mom never forgets to say that 'neerg jappere povorchi'. Sad incident indeed, a whole family washed away.
