The top order batsman made 49 against Pakistan at the Hagley Oval here Saturday before pulling up in the 32nd over with a torn hamstring, after attempting a quick single, being forced to retire hurt, reports CMC.

A subsequent MRI scan revealed Bravo had picked up a lower-grade tear to his left hamstring.

Team media manager Philip Spooner confirmed Bravo would miss Tuesday's game against Zimbabwe in Canberra and said he was also doubtful for the match against South Africa Friday.

"Bravo remains in good spirits and will be monitored on a day-to-day basis by physio C.J. Clark," Spooner said.
