UAE elect to bat against India

Perth, Feb 28 (IANS): United Arab Emirates (UAE) captain Mohammad Tauqir won the toss and elected to bat against India in a cricket World Cup Pool B contest at the WACA here Saturday.

Squads:

UAE: Amjad Ali, Andri Berenger, Krishna Chandran, Khurram Khan, S.P. Patil, Shaiman Anwar, Rohan Mustafa, Amjad Javed, Mohammad Naveed, Mohammad Tauqir (captain), Manjula Guruge.

India: Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, Virat Kohli, Ajinkya Rahane, Suresh Raina, Mahendra Singh Dhoni (captain), Ravindra Jadeja, Ravichandran Ashwin, Umesh Yadav, Mohit Sharma, Bhuvneshwar Kumar.
