Rugby player Burger claims Laureus comeback award


Shanghai, April 15 (IANS): South African rugby player Schalk Burger, who survived a life-threatening bacterial meningitis to return to the 'Springboks', won the Laureus World Comeback of the Year award here on Wednesday.

The other candidates for the award were Francesco Acerbi (Italy), Diego Milito (Argentina), Jo Pavey (Britain), Pierre Vaultier (France) and Oliver Wilson (Britain), reports Xinhua.
