Mumbai, Jun 5: Jalaja Heggadthi Koraga Shetty(87), hailing from Nandalike Parari, wife of former president of Jagadamba temple committee, well known hotelier, owner of Hotel Gurukripa near Vishal Hall in Andheri east, Nadalike Baradaddu Koraga Kaju Shetty passed away due to sickness at Holy Spirit hospital at Andheri east on Thursday morning, June 4.


The deceased has left behind three sons and three daughters and a large number of friends and relatives. The dead body was brought for last rites from her residence at Baptistavadi with band and Bhajans to the main road with the local people offering their last respects. Her last rites were performed at Chakala Parsivada crematorium on Sahar road at Andheri east in the evening on June 4.

Businessman Mundappa S Payyade, Jagadamba temple committee president Dayananda Anchan, Vice president Shekar M Anchan, Secretary Yashwant Ameen, Treasurer Chandrakanth Sriyan, Surendrakumar Hegde and present and former office bearers, members, Mahesh Shanti Hejmady and hundreds of people paid their last respects and expressed their condolences.
