Djokovic reaches Shanghai Masters third round

Shanghai, Oct 14 (IANS): Two-time champion Novak Djokovic on Wednesday hammered Slovak Martin Klizan 6-2, 6-1 in 62 minutes to reach the third round of the Shanghai Rolex Masters tennis tournament.

The world No.1 Serb's effectiveness in China was still in force after last week when he surged to a sixth China Open crown in Beijing, Efe reported.

The 28-year-old Djokovic will now face the winner of the match between Spaniard Feliciano Lopez and Belgian Dominic Thiem.
