Mangalore, Sep 27: The HRM forum of School of Social Work, Roshni Nilaya will organize a state-level HR confluence on Friday September 28 and Saturday September 30.

The confluence will be a platform for corporate inter-facing with the students and the professionals from the same field.

A Gopalkrishna, chief operating officer of Mangalore Special Economic Zone Limited will inaugurate the programme on Friday at 9.30 am.

Y R Wilson, VP-corporate human resources, Himatsingka Seide Limited, Bangalore and Vasudev Kamath, unit head-delivery manager, Infosys will be the chief guests for the inaugural function. Dr Jacintha D’Souza, principal of School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya will preside over the function.

HR confluence -2007 aims at bringing together all HR Professionals from various parts of the state for joint reflections on the emerging trends on the current issues with the theme “Retention of intellectual capital where human capital migrates”. The confluence also includes paper presentations by students from all over the state and management events such as Quiz and Best HR manager.

The valedictory function will be held on Saturday at 4.30 pm. J R Lobo, deputy project director of KUIDFC and Raju Arumugham, manager-HR of Ford India Limited, Chennai will be the chief guests. Dr Jacintha will preside over the valedictory function.
