Mangalore, Oct 14: The bad roads on one side and high speed buses on the other has indeed made the life of common man miserable in the coastal belt. Here is an incident which raised the hackles of the man on the street and made them express their anguish against Express buses at K C Road, near Talapadi  on Sunday, October 14 evening.

The violent crowd pelted stones at Express buses running between Kasaragod and Mangalore here on Sunday. As a result of which a total of 3 buses have been damaged and in the bargain 4 persons injured.

The locals turned violent when an Express bus running on the same ill-fated Mangalore- Kasargod route, collided with a car. This was the last straw for the locals, who had borne this for long and this time they blamed the bus driver and alleged that the incident had occurred owing to the reckless driving on part of the bus driver.

In anger the locals attacked the bus conductor and 2 bus drivers and a cleaner. All of whom have been admitted to a hospital at Tokkottu.

Ullal police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.

Excellent job guys. You should have beaten up the driver so that he would not be able to drive for at least bsix months.
