Mangalore, Oct 15: Jeevan Jyothi seminar at deanery level organized by Infant Jesus Church, Bantwal near here for students of class 10 was inaugurated here on Sunday October 14.

The main aim of this seminar was to enlighten the students with the teachings of Jesus and how to behave in a society.

Fr Roque D’Sa, parish priest of Bantwal Church was the president of the programme. Gerald Pinto, vice-president of Allipade Church was the chief guest.

The representatives of the seminar were Teena D’Sa, Judith Pereira were also present on the dais.

Fr Syprian Pinto, parish priest of Loretto Church invoked God’s blessings for the smooth sailing of the seminar. Later, the president along with the chief guest inaugurated the seminar by lighting the lamp.

Both the president as well as the chief guest spoke on the occasion.

Fr Lawrence Mascarenhas, parish priest of Allipade Church compered the programme. Fr Arun Lobo, assistant priest of Bantwal Church and other priests from deanery and nuns were present on the occasion.
